The diamond business is getting very competitive, and sadly, many diamond merchants have allowed that competition to undermine good business practices. At Pollock's we have built our business on the four pillars of; grading accuracy, consumer education, high quality, and true value - instead of "loose grading practices". Although many jewelry stores use other "laboratories" to certify their diamonds, there are only three accredited gem labs in the world, the other guys are just "cert houses", many taking advantage of customers by grading the diamonds better than what they really are - and then making the customer think they're getting a great price.

We at Pollock's strive to protect our customers with education, not only about diamonds, but the laboratories that grade those diamonds.

Our General Manager, Clayton Hill, is both a Certified Gemological Appraiser through the American Gem Society, and a Graduate Gemologist through the Gemological Institute of America. Along with being very well educated, Clay has a unique gift of putting his diamond knowledge in terms that everyone can understand.
